Andy Holmes

Andy's interest in music began when he started Dj'ing at a youth club he belonged to. 34 years later her finally hung up his 'mobile headphones' having played in many venues across Essex and London including Madam Tussauds to a total collective estimated audience to fill Wembley Stadium one a half times !

He joined Hospital Radio Chelmsford as part of his Duke of Edinburgh bronze award - and been there ever since presenting a wide variety of shows including request show, Saturday breakfast, and a talk show.

Andy brings this vast experience to City Sound and besides presenting The City Sound Drive show, he is also busy behind the scenes supporting the management of the station. 

Andy is a big advocate of Park Run and Goodgym - he has the best pair of chicken legs ever seen !!
