David Arscott

Singer, songwriter, Promoter & DJ David Arscott has been flitting around both the FM and online airwaves for 10 years.

Establishing The Lesson show & The Rubber Soul radio originally on Saint FM 94.7, before moving the latter over to Chelmsford Community Radio in 2017.

On radio, David is known for playing More music and talking less, curating Northern Soul, Funk, and all kinds of subgenres around those. 

However for the all new Poptarts Radio show Lost & Forgotten 80-89, David and co-host John Mabey will be focussing on exactly that. This show comes off the back of the Poptarts Podcast which is slowly gaining momentum for David & John and their growing list of 1980s guests. 

David is excited about getting back into radio and being part of this new dynamic team of professionals.

Outside of radio David is well known for his award-nominated Rubber Soul club nights spanning some 15 years now and having been the frontman and driving force behind the band, local legends, The White Gospel.
